Dr. Janine Griesser is a pharmacist, pharmaceutical scientist and health creator from Tyrol, Austria. She studied pharmacy at the University of Innsbruck, where she also earned her doctorate in pharmaceutical technology. Her research focused on novel dosage forms – specifically self-emulsifying drug delivery systems designed to get active ingredients to where they need to act. She published her findings in international scientific journals.
Today she works as a pharmacist in a community pharmacy in Innsbruck. The questions she hears there every day led her, in February 2024, to start her “daily dose of pharmacy knowledge”: short, carefully researched videos about medicines, side effects, health myths and the topics people rarely talk about openly.
