Winter Depression or Exhaustion?

Not every bout of winter lethargy is depression. Exhaustion, seasonal low mood and depressive illness can overlap in their symptoms but differ in depth and course. The decisive difference often lies less in mood itself than in inner responsiveness – whether joy, resonance or relief are still possible. Premature labels create uncertainty and obscure the actual causes. A careful assessment helps you respond appropriately – without panic, but without denial either.
